Sylmore provides a wide variety of production services. We specialize in Live Sound Reinforcement; and our Technical Staff offers audio systems to cover a diverse variety of events ranging from small intimate audiences to large-scale productions.
There are several components to a sound reinforcement system; for a successful event every aspect of audio must be unsurpassed. Live audio has its challenges and because of this, every aspect of the sound reinforcement system is analyzed by Sylmore Technical Staff and approved by the customer before the event takes place.

The single most important component of a Sound Reinforcement System is the equipment. However, one critical component which must not be overlooked is the production staff. Since we emphasize professionalism in every aspect of the event to all our employees, our production staff is a significant factor for success.

Our purpose is total client satisfaction, and we make every effort to maintain lasting meaningful relationships with our clients. We collaborate with our clients to jointly understand their production goals and offer recommendations, as we are also part of the event. Our understanding of our clients' needs leads to cost effective solutions.

In addition to our superior customer service, Sylmore maintains an inventory of high-quality brands of sound amplifying equipment including:

What do you like most about your job?
The chance to do what I love as a job. And know that a job done well doen't require praise. No complaints is just as good as praise.

What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

Generally an event is four to five hours we charge $400.00

If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
Live sound done well is expensive you get what you pay for. Uncle Bob may be able to do it cheaper, but he can't do it better.

Do you have a favorite story from your work?
Once was providing sound for a benifit and started getting dark. The benifit was still going strong people wanted to stay. They had only contracted us to do sound. However because our rigs are equiped for lighting as well we setup lights for them. Because of this benifit raised quite a bit more money. It's great being able to serve our community this way.

What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
We have 10 years in live sound reinforcement business. Our tech's have extensive industry resume's.

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Get references and check them. Ask to see the equipment.

How did you decide to get in your line of work?
Have a love of music and live entertainment. Was not particulary musical talented. But knew what sounded good started running sound in highschool. From there went to college for media pretty much just expanded from there.

What are your most common types of jobs?
A lot of our business is Church that's having arge event. Or Branson show preforming outside their theater. Plus we do all the rest trade shows, car shows, weddings, and music festivals.

Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
We provided sound support for Gospel music festival. Was really something multiple acts on two stages for three days.

Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
In this business you have too always something new coming out. We attend couple of major trade convention yearly.

What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
There have been several advances in projection media as replacement for conventional lighting. Recently assited on club install that relaced 90% of their lighting with it, WOW!

If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.
Our pricing is based on customer specific needs. A small event sound for singer or two and anounsements could be about $400 for the whole thing. To concert or music festival costing several thousand. We do needs assesments and bids for free if hired for the event. We also do them for churches and venues looking to do permenant installs.

If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
Training know your equipment. Start small build a customer base. This is a VERY expensive business to be in. Recently purchase a new Digital Audio Mixer $9000.00 one good microphone can run $500 and you'll need more than one. We have almost $30,000.00 tied up in equipment and trucks and trailers to haul it.

Write your own question and answer it.
Can you get a lot of sound cheap?

Yes you can, if you want good soud it doesn't come cheap.

What important information should buyers have before seeking you out? For example, someone looking to have their room painted should know how big the room is, whether or not the ceiling requires painting, if there is trimming or crown moldings, etc.
How big is the whole space their event will be in and how high are the ceilings. Outside same thing how big is the space the whole space. Sound travels but further it goes qality decreases. With sound you always want quality over quanity louder isn't always better.

Wow! Service from Sylmore LLC is fantastic. Good Christian folks too. They have provided the sound for several gospel/church events which I have attened. The sound has always been just right i.e. not to loud. From the looks of their equipment have modern and up to date set up and their people know what they are doing. In ministry this is always pause concern when a church we have PA system you never know quite what to expect.
