ABOUT

What's up everyone?

New to this site and, in search of awesome indie music! I have been a DJ / Producer for the better part of around 20 years. Had some good gigs, had some bad ones too but hey, that's the life.

I am on a completely different mission these days. I am looking for new talent, worldwide. I started with an idea a few months back and the idea has really blossomed throughout the last 2-3 months (Written on 05/21/21) the initial idea was to have a podcast that was focused on indie music of all genres... Like a big talent show. An opportunity presented itself and I hooked up a radio station and created Pulse Media LLC. Now, I want to bring back a traditional radio station format with the difference of focusing on the indie artist rather than the mainstream. Where EVERY, SINGLE, musician can get heard. That is recorded and uploaded to all of the major Podcast sites.

The following has been growing steadily and everyone thus far has been enjoying the format and how everything works. If you'd like to check out some completed shows, here's the link.

Influences

Too many to name.

I grew up in the 90's and I listened to literally everything. I had my Metallica CD's directly alongside of DR. Dre and Snoop Dogg, next to Weezer, NIN, Faith No More, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Tupac, Biggie, Enigma, Snow, Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer... I could keep going and going. I love music and I am especially passionate about indie music as, every day you can hear something new.

I'm not hating on the mainstream artists, they worked their grind and paid their dues... I'm more hating on mainstream radio, magazines and labels that don't give that little shot that someone may need form being a hobby musician to being paid to do what you love.
