ABOUT

I'm a mega dork. I enjoy composing songs and writing lyrics, however, I have yet to find people I click with as a writer. It's an anxiety thing, to be completely honest. Oddly enough, I find it easy to be open in front of a crowd- moreso than in more intimate settings, at least. My critical eye is both a blessing and a curse. I'm a hopeless perfectionist. I'd really like to let go of that. I often get in my own way when writing. I'm not terribly interested in maintaining an image of any sort, I'd really like what I create with other people to be about the art and having fun while making an audience genuinely feel. I'm currently doing work in graphic design as well as voice acting. I recently became the lead voice actor for a music based animated series, in which I write for the original sound track as well as sing.

Influences

All kinds of music, really. I try to find the merit in everything I listen to even if I don't quite find it to my liking. I really appreciate the tone of the sixties, but I listen primarily to punk, grunge, and alt rock (Foo Fighters, Rise Against, Houndmouth, Nirvana, Weezer, Blur).
