I'm a young looking and acting 70. Contact= rchappell55 or 540-522-1420. Am ready to be a member of someone else's band after 3 years of being a band leader. Read on: Played in a folk band in HS and at UNC-Chapel Hill. Since 2004 played 8 years in a bluegrass band with a young couple who graduated VA Tech in 2007. When they had a baby in 2011, I started my own bluegrass band: Turkey Ridge String Band. We played about 60 gigs including the State Theatre of Culpeper twice in 8 months. I tired of the role of band leader and disbanded TRSB on 10/4/2014.
I could play standup bass or rhythm guitar, sing a few baritone leads, and love to sing harmony. Bluegrass is fine. Country too. Gospel. Oldies. I can even sing a little soul : Great Pretender.
