I'm not the fastest player and I don't put on a show but I know when the guitar is out of tune, I play in time and can count. I started as the rhythm player in the high school jazz band. My reading skills are rusty.

I own and ran the sound for my last band.
Not into GB/pop. Money is not important. Hope to play out 1/month, not making it a job. Got one of those.

I like classic rock, listen to jazz and blue grass and blues (listen to WICN). Loved the Motown and funk (before disco). Swing/big band.
Members Of Band
Got a good group of people currently. Drums, bass, an 2nd guitar, 2 singers, one plays harp. We practice at the drummers home. So, contact me if you're interested. Covers in the rock/blues/funk. Not the usual tunes, but the ones that make people say: I remember that! Stuff you can make your own. Get people up and going. Play out 1 or 2 X per month. I don't care about the money. I do care if the members know the song structure.

Guitar Samples Using XR18 Tube. Stage
Guitar Samples Using XR18 Tube. StageThis is a sampling of going direct into a Behringer XR18 using it's Dual Tube Stage FX. This was a practice, recorded with a Zoom H2 set in the middle of the room. I use both my black LP and the LP I built in college (Carvin M22SD pickups). The black one is used for the slide. The sections are: First: Our ending of No One to run with, I'm using a slide. 53 seconds: All Right Now. Mine is the cleaner tone (Boss SD1) I then switch to add the Moen Deep Blue for the solo. 3:28 25 or 6 to 4 Solo, Boss SD1 with Moen Deep Blue 5:32 I'm playing the rhythm for Sympathy for the Devil Clean 6:44 I start Rock Me Right. Only Boss SD1 on. 7:15 I play the rhythm for Bluest Blues using a Moen Jimi Zero Univibe effect.
Ex's And Oh's
Ex's And Oh'sThis is our first time out with this song. It sure has become popular.
Ooh La La
Ooh La LaOoh La La, Paris, a Grace Potter tune from our recent gig.
I'm The Only One 2
I'm The Only One 2This is a mix from recordings from a gig. I used Reaper to play it through a Behringer XR18. This is the mixer we use and what the recordings were made from. I used it to mx down the tracks.
Live With Me mixed via Behringer XR18
Live With Me mixed via Behringer XR18This is an example of doing a mix down of some recordings from practice. The tracks were captured off the Behringer XR18 via MixTools. I then used Audacity to cut the song from the full rehearsal. The tracks were put into a DAW Tracktion to play them back thought the XR18. All effects are the XR18. After mixing, I recorded it direct to my Zoom H2 (320mp3) via the headphones out of the XR18.
Behringer XR18 mixer
Behringer XR18 mixerThis is a sample of the Behringer XR18 digital mixer run through Peavey IPR amps into Bill Fitzmaurice OT12's and T39 subs. It is a live recording of our practice via a Zoom H2 uncompressed. Thus the balance is not the best do to the recorder placement. The EQ on the mains is flat, I have made no adjustments yet. I am running the Compensator effect which is a multi band compressor, but it hardly shows up. What I wanted to show here is the clarity of the system. Also the bass guitar (Fender Jazz) was plugged into channel 1, no DI, no intermediary. There is no adjustment to the EQ, gate and no compression.
