WHY BOOK ONE MAN BAND – AMAZING GRACE – PA PA DON????
Experienced, professional R&B, Beach, Southern Rock and Roll and Contemporary Christian music drummer . . . specializes in “Live Music” for Ocean Drive's, North Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas, “Clubs, Lounges, Bar Scenes and local Churches” - provides accompaniment of live drums with a variety of artists – providing a perfect mix of musical sound and volume to suit any venue – From: soft background music which allows conversations in small venues, To: rockin' to the oldies sounds in a bar, night club and/or outdoor venue of crowded listeners. Each performance is “tailored made” to meet your preferences – providing a set Tribute Performance and/or interactive requests from patrons: Playing all of the great beach/shag music, classic rock and roll oldies, Southern Rock and Roll of the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 2K.

o Typical Gig: 120 – 240 minutes (2-4 Hours).
o Fee: $200 and up (negotiable) , depending upon the number of hours. No charge for local churches!!
OVERVIEW:
IMPORTANT NOTE ON SOUND:
I have literally SOLVED the “sound” challenges with percussion!! I have modified my “acoustic” (PDPs -Dws) drums been modified to project DIGITAL SOUND throughout the sound system with the music!! - this modification allows and further compensate for previous challenges of an acoustical drum set. Drum sounds are blended, mixed, and projected through the sound system with the type music requested from patrons!! This allows the drums to “accent” - not “overpower” the music and allows absolute “volume control” for your listening pleasure of each performance. The volume can be “reduced” to levels that will compensate and further allow for comfortable personal conversations within a small banquet room and/or increased to “Rockin' The House” for any indoor and/or outdoor venue!!
One Man Band – Amazing Grace arrives 1-hour prior to the performance time to set up drums and sound equipment/system. Sound levels are adjusted to completely suit the preference of the customer/patron. Once the performance begins, I play a series of 60 – minutes (1 – hour) musical segments. During each set, I will take a 5-10 minute break, but keep the music playing during the break – for your listening pleasure, providing continuous musical coverage for the event.
ADDITIONAL BOOKING NOTES
Space Requirements – Staging area 6' x 6' with access to 110 AC electrical outlet. I will provide all required sound equipment/system amplification. The sound and acoustics of the drums are electronically balanced with the music and both percussion and song are projected through the sound system. IMPORTANT: This allows a perfect balance of sound and music – allowing the drums to blend perfectly with the music – even if the VOLUME is turned down to a minimum. This UNIQUE feature, the ability to “mix” the drum sounds “with” each song – is the hallmark of One Man Band – Amazing Grace's unique skill set. This is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT when the local patron has to comply with a “noise ordinance!!”
BIOLOGICAL SKETCH
I (“PaPa Don”) is a retired Army Sergeant Major with over 42-years of military service, who has been performing since the “Beach and Southern Rock and Roll Explosion” in the late 60s!! As a noted recording artist and serving for over 50 - years on the drummer's throne for many great bands.
