60's Beck, Clapton Jimi, then Jimmy Page and Pete Townsend morphed into the Robert Fripp, Steve Hackett, Steve Howe progressive thing. Then Andy Summers, Mr Petty, and Rush's Alex Liefson. SRV and Joe Satriani round it out. Oh let's not forget about Mr Rust never Sleeps Neil Young.
