Been a bassist for over 40 years. Played a lot of styles with a lot of people - blues, bluegrass, rock.R&B and country. I am a Transsexual woman - now legally female. I'm listed in the book "Baltimore Sounds" as "Pete" Plamondon. More on that in my blogs. Now that that's outta the way ---- My main bass is a Warwick Corvette Fretless and have a Fender Fretless P/J (frets didn't last 36 hours before I pulled them - damn you Ginger!!) and a Fender MB4. I'm a diehard user of Ampeg SVT amps (since 1970). I'm a versatile and experienced player and a quick study. Originally from Georgetown - Washington, D.C. Played with various bands there and moved to Baltimore in '67. Played thru the "Bluesette","Majestic Artist Prod." and "Starleigh" with bands such as the "Uncertain Things", "Rize", "Joshua" (see ./joshua1968), then "Renaud and the Junction", "Jesse", "Southbound", various bluegrass bands, "Jaded Sister", "Rainbow Rouge" and "Hurricane and the Blues Tornado". Opened for numerous national acts at shows produced by "Tree Frog Productions" during the glory days of Painters Mill Music Fair. Opened for Ruth Copeland, the James Cotton Blues Band, Savoy Brown, Grin, Atomic Rooster, Redbone, Seatrain and others. Left Baltimore for a few years and played worship services in chuches and coffeehouses in North Carolina- had to find myself spiritually and learn to face my little "personal issue".
I AM INTERESTED IN MEETING/JAMMING WITH OTHER SERIOUS LOCAL MUSICIANS. - LOOKING FOR other serious GIGS, PROJECTS and SESSION WORK with MUSICALLY MATURE ARTISTS. You never know where I'll be playing/who I'll be sitting in with on weekends...
