BIO:
Donna Brodie Kidd, born and raised in Durham, North Carolina and now residing in Charlotte, North Carolina is a woman after God’s heart. She developed a love for music and song at an early age. She made her first appearance before a live audience at the age of four years old in a talent showcase with her musically talented siblings (now known as the R&B band, “The Brothership”®). She began traveling and singing with the band by the age of twelve years old and continued through her teenage years. Some of the exposure to the world of arts and entertainment brought about pain and sorrow to Donna’s life –through it all she knew that singing was a special part of her life. But it wasn’t until she rededicated her life to Christ that she realized her mandate was more than singing, it was ministry. Ministry to those that are lost, hurt, and abused – Ministry to those that want a way out of their situation, those tired of living, yet too scared to die – ministry through song. >

As a mother, Donna considers it a priority to capture the attention of that young man and that young woman and give them hope; hope to believe that as long as they can get up, they can get out of any situation. By “get up” she means turn their lives over completely to Christ - then and only then will their lives change and hearts begin to heal. Donna often quotes her husband’s favorite pick me up-- “if nothing changes, nothing changes” and is a firm believer that if we do not change our minds and learn and develop the mind of Christ – then, teach our young people to think and act in a healthy and positive way, we will continue the life of bondage and our decisions and circumstances will remain the same and passed on to the next generation. > As a woman, Donna believes that there is a special ministry gift within her that will lift the head of that woman who seems to feel that she is worthless, that woman who was touched inappropriately as a child by one that should have protected her, that woman who is in an abusive marriage, that woman who looks in the mirror and refuses to see her real beauty, that woman who takes a shower and still feels dirty, that woman who hates her body, her nose, her lips, her hips – that woman - THAT WOMAN whom God has said to, you are precious, you are important, you are MINE, stand tall and keep pressing. Donna desires to minister in song a Word from God that will heal the whole woman and cause her to love herself and spread love to all she comes in contact with.

> One of Donna's most sacred desires is that her music will reach the masses and act as a tool to bring about that supernatural change for the Kingdom of God so that souls can be saved and hearts turn to God. ..
