I'm interested in starting or joining either one of 3 types of bands. First, I really dig the style and sound of Alabama Shakes, and would love to be a part of something very similar to their style. Second, I wouldn't mind to start an old school country/rebel country/southern rock band. I have (what I feel) a pretty innovative idea for a rebel country band, that maybe hasn't been done before. Third, I also wouldn't mind to be part of a heavier band. Not screamo or hardcore, and not a hair metal band. Something along the likes of Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin, Jonah 33, or something similar to those bands.
I am a Christian, and although I'm not necessarily looking to only play Christian music, I'm definitely going to have some things I will refuse to do. Basically if it gos against my faith, is immoral, involves vulgar language, or sexual inuendo, don't even bother asking.

I like music that jams. I like music that actually shows off the musicianship, and talents of the members in the band. Not a fan of overly produced, poppy, radio sensation type of stuff. I like bands/artists such as Alabama Shakes, Johnny Cash, Zac Brown, Brother O' Brother, Alabama, Leon Bridges, Al Green, Charlie Daniels, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, BlackBerry Smoke, and a bunch of others. I have a very wide variety of musical tastes.

Acoustic 1-15 combo amp, 5 String Jackson bass, 4 string acoustic/electric bass, and 3 4 string Dean basses. I also have a Sonor drum kit, and a Meinl cajon.
