Donnie was born in Chehalis, Washington; His father was in the military so
Donnie travel around the world. He received his first drum set at the age of 13
When living at Yokota, Japan. He and two other of the same age form a small band and played at the Garden a local hangout for G.I. in Japan. He also played in a local high school band in Kadena, Okinawa, when returning to the states, he played in some local
Bands in Tillamook, Oregon, when moving to Portland, Oregon, in 1970, he joins
A popular Portland 50’s and 60’s band call The Teen Angels, later in 1986 he revisited
The Teen Angels in Eugene, Oregon. In 1993 he help form Johnny Law and the Rebel
A group performing for Car Shows and Fairs. He has always love The Doors Music
And the style of John Densmore, Percussionist of The Doors!
