Me and my buddy are looking to start a band and make good pop music. We want to start with be covers, marketing strategies, writing, practicing, recording, producing singles and EPs 2021 and look into hardcore gigging and weekend touring at the very least following releasing music. This is looking like a long haul project and not just a jam session. We are both christians and are looking for someone with our faith who plays drums and can possibly sing a little bit of backing vocals. I play bass and sing lead and he sings lead as well and plays guitar/piano. Currently we are writing and mastering our crafts during Covid as we get ready to record, release, and perform. Although we are christians and looking for a christian we want to play music for everyone (bands like switchfoot and needtobreathe) in the secular realm. We are content with just a small fun 3 piece and using backing tracks when performing to fill in any small gaps from recordings. Obviously someone who has their own equipment and recording experience would be awesome. And even if you just want to talk and get more information that’d be totally cool too. We can send you our google doc band summary plan so you can get a vibe if this is for you or not. We are both 25 and after trying to seek the white picket fence life we know God has given us a strong desire to chase our dreams and play music. Hopefully you feel the same.
