We are a classic rock band but we do a lot original music. We (Speedway Boogie) have been together for over 10 years and have played numerous club gigs, festivals, and private parties. We play classic rock, alternative, some Santana, Dead, and have a lot of very good original music. We are based in San Jose and have a practice room there also. The band consists of lead guitar/backing vocal, rhythm guitar/lead singer, bass, and percussion (congas, timbales, & bongos)/backing vocal. We have a PA system with monitors and mikes. Our original rock/blues based music is very rhythmic and syncopated.
