I am passionate about old-time appalachian stringband music. I play mostly fiddle, and seek a guitarist who either lives and breathes this same genre of spirited fiddle/banjo dance music or is willing to learn it. Look up videos of the Freight Hoppers for a good example of what I'm all about. I have an exciting, emerging band that needs a guitarist, but am also interested in learning old-time singing songs and harmonies with the right person, in or out of the band.
