Band to Join, Vocalist, Saxophone, Keyboard, Drums, Bass Guitar.

Looking for older players out there in a similar situation as I… lots of past studio & stage experience, and now out of the profession full time, but still have chops & a huge itch to play & perform…
I do have a day job, but that enables me to be a bit pickier about the projects I end up participating in.

So where are the other experienced players who are interested in playing bluesy/jazz/funk/soul/ kind of tunes?
Covers and/or originals are OK with me, instrumentals or with a singer is fine too.
Feel is most important- monster speed chops not necessary, but some chordal knowledge, true pocket grooving, and soulful playing is.
Getting the music tight & in the pocket with weekly rehearsals (SFV or nearby), would be perfect.

If you are interested please contact me at jdmarcumpacbell , especially if you are a keyboardist specializing in Hammond style playing.
It might take a while to gather the right players, so patience is necessary.
About the audio clips: the musical styles are all over the map- they’re mostly just to show that I’m versatile and a decent player… Most are of a 1970s band reunion (obviously with very little rehearsing, but lots of fun).
I’m the guy on the left, Tele w/black pickguard.
