ABOUT

I would love to get back into a (preferably) funk/soul/R&B band that has includes horns, etc. Funk, Soul and Rock n Roll are among my favorites.
Some (among many) of my past playing experiences are as follows (listed from most recent to oldest):
A. Recently was in a 9 piece horn band that played various styles of funk, soul, R&B, classic rock and swing jazz types of music (band was called Taxi) playing tunes from Tower of Power, Chicago, Commodores, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, Steely Dan, etc etc etc.
B. Top 40 / Rock / Classic Rock band (original member of the still existing band called "Stereotype")
C. Classic Rock (band was called Cry Wulf)
D. Lounge/Pop music (band was called Stinger)
E. Christian Contemporary music (I play monthly at my church)

Classic Rock: Bands like...
Doobie Brothers, Foghat, Grand Funk, Humble Pie, Golden Earring, Loverboy, Duran Duran, etc.

Soul (James Brown, Stevie Wonder, etc).
