I've been a guitarist for over 25 years, and I also produce original digital-rock/electronica/hardcore-type music under the name "Dreamtrack" - sorta sounds like Linkin Park meets Red Hot Chili Peppers. I play small single-man gigs, mostly acoustic covers with heavy effects/looper and my own personal variations. I am a strong singer - tenor range - I can sing classically as a tenor, even the rare counter-tenor parts are within my range. I am a good screamer - I have several different methods, depending on what the song requires. I've been training with a vocalist. I am fairly versatile but some of the singers who I can mimic really well include the vocalists of: Linkin Park, Blind Melon, Taking Back Sunday, Chevelle, Led Zeppelin, Deftones, Foo Fighters, Bush, etc. I'm definitely the most talented at guitar though. Can play/learn pretty much anything. I do some really unique finger-picking & taps, but can play pretty much any style. I've played for over 20 years, took lessons for about 5 years from metal-guitarist Jim Dofka back in the late 90’s. Played in some 90's grunge bands, a punk band, and sort of a post-hardcore band. Some of the guitarists that I particularly try to emulate are Jimmy Page, Tom Morello and John Frusciante. I experiment with alternate tunings quite regularly, also use a talkbox, a bow, and a fully digital rig (main stage/Logic Pro). Contact me at jonnybartsch at me dot com I WILL JAM WITH ANYONE hoping to find a good musical connection. If it works, we do more, if not, I’m respectfully honest and wish you well.

Fender guitars, Alvarez guitars, ESP guitars, Ibanez guitars, Line 6 effects and amps, lots of pedals, Apple music software - Logic, GarageBand. Pro Tools, etc. loop machine, talkbox. I FULLY embrace the latest technology in my rig - for recording, jamming and playing live!

I fully integrate Apple software into my rig - use Mainstage for gigs/jam sessions which lets me utilize any effects/amps I want. I use Logic Pro 9 software, and occasionally Garageband for more simple stuff. I've been using digital software in my rig since September, 2000 - so I've used many different programs and am quite proficient. However, for the last 5 years I only use Apple software for the best stability & performance (Mainstage & Logic). For these reasons, I am just as much of a music producer as writer/performer, and I have converted a room in my home to a studio with pretty much anything I need - am very used to recording/editing and produce professional-quality recordings.
