ABOUT

ALTERNATIVE-PSYCHEDELIC-FUNK-ROCK BAND
SEEKING DRUMMER + PIANIST
FOR WRITING ORIGINAL MATERIAL.

Born out of a childhood friendship between two local musicians, this is a project more than 10 years in the making and created from the shared passion of music and desire for a platform to launch collective and creative musical ideas. After practicing and learning their instruments together, the pair developed a heightened sense of improvisational direction and how best to complement each other as a result of many hours of shared practice and played time .

After playing through middle school, high school, and part of college, the band pursuit was put on hold for nearly 8 years while one joined the Marine Corp.

Though separated and not able to collaborate, both continued practicing and gathering experience in songwriting and performance. This led to both parties amassing a collection of licks, ideas, lyrics, foundations, and outlines for use, as well as signature sounds and tones that blend well and compliment one another. (or at least we like to think so! ha) After completing service and moving back to Texas, the game was afoot.

Soon after starting up, a singer was located, brought on board, and turned out to be a perfect fit. Being a very talented poet/lyricist combined with having a killer voice, great control, musical theater experience, and virtually no inhibitions made the new member a welcome addition and a seamless transition.

Now a three piece outfit and able to construct complete pieces with lyrics and music, the group is looking to recruit a committed drummer to round out, nail down, and add the remaining flavor needed to finalize our sound and mold it into our own.

Creativity, originality, desire to write/play/practice/perform, good communication skills, and judgement free attitudes are highly desired and encouraged traits for a possible additions.

We also encourage both voicing and receiving constructive criticism in a productive manner. We strive to write to the best of our ability and believe that working together as a group, a collective consciousness, is the best way to achieve this goal.

We practice out of a house in Lewisville currently usually 2-3 times a week for 2-3 hours at a time. We have managed to keep the volume reasonable and have an available electric drum kit for house rehearsal. Accommodations can be made for a live kit if needed/preferred, and we will cross that bridge when the time comes. As far as keys go, we have an available 88 key MIDI controller running Logic but are open and flexible to the musicians choice.

Please contact us if interested. Thank you for your time.
