New Hampshire's state motto: Live Free or Die. Florida's state motto: In God We Trust. Combine the two, and you have the backdrop of creative brander Drew Macarthur (aka: Drewone).

New England-born, the New Hampshire native was raised in the surf on the white beaches of Pensacola, Florida. That sunny backdrop to Drew's artistic imagination merged both his fine art and musical proclivities. His intense guitar-shredding aspiration and his colorful proficiency at rhythm guitar, forged through years of playing with punk and rock bands, emptied him into his calling: the solid-pounding groove of the bass guitar.

Like New Hampshire, "The Granite State", Drew's devotion to the bass as well as his commitment to developing strong relationships with other talented musicians in the industry is rock solid. Like Florida, "The Sunshine State", what shines through in Drew's technical bass fury is a love for music and people. What both states have given Drew is a healthy mesh of both mottos. "Life is learning", says Drew. "We will all fall down, but it's what we learn that helps us get up."

"Drew" might be the past tense of "draw", but Drew Macarthur is no pastime. He has yet to see his best days.
