I played professionally in the mid-60's through the mid-70's, mostly in-and-around Louisiana and the Gulf-Coast / Southeast region. In 1972 I went to Nashville to record some original music that my best friend (lead guitarist and singer, Mike Legnon) and I had written. Mike is included in my BandMix pics ... he's #5 right after the black and white of me on the double bass set. The trip from New Orleans to Nashville, aboard a Delta 727, was my first flight ... Ever! Light on fuel and only half-full of passengers, it accelerated and climbed out like a home-sick Angel. Now, I’d been on amusement park rides … but this felt like Nothing I'd ever experienced before. I was hooked and decided to leave music full-time, join the Navy and pursue a career as an Aviator. After 46 years in Aviation, with only the occasional jam session I'm returning to my first Love, full-time ... (with room allowed for POW-MIA events, Trikes & Bikes, camping, hunting, ... )
