Played guitar in high school and into early college. Never very seriously and then I stopped cold. College, career, family, kids, and I didn't touch a guitar. Suddenly, 40 years later I picked it up again. This time with much more intentionality. I really enjoy almost all forms of music and have dabbled in folk, vintage jazz, bluegrass, rock...trying to develop a skill set and useful playlist. I play nearly every day; usually for a hour or more. I just enjoy it.
I have not had the opportunity to play with others or play out, but I understand these are important next steps.
I'm not sure what to expect when playing with others...the last time I did so was in a garage band when I was 14. But I'm game if the situation is right. I'm not afraid of rehearsal and prefer to be well prepared. Most important to me is to have fun while producing some enjoyable music. At 68 I'm not into drama. If you are interested in giving it shot contact me. Perhaps we can work up a plan to take over the planet...one garage at a time.
