I've been playing on/off since the age of 16. Started on drums, wound up liking the bass guitar much better, but I do still enjoy drumming as well.
I'm one of those that believe, generally speaking, if you're playing a cover song one should always strive to play as close to the original as possible. However there is always something to be said for taking liberties with an arrangement and bringing something "new" to the table.

Influences
Just about any 80's hair band, arena rock, metal music - I will always love this era!
I am not, however, a curmudgeon, as I do enjoy all styles and types of music, from the classical composers to rap to bluegrass/country and a little bit of everything in between.
