41 year old musician looking for local musicians to get together with to jam a bit. Nothing to obsessive but is willing to be serious about playing and getting a good sound together. Just some fun and a few cold ones while playing some covers and eventually originals if the chemistry is there. I am looking for open minded musicians that have no problems with teaching and learning as all musicians are forever students. Im not much of a lead player(solos), my strong point is rhythm. Started young on drums so my sense of rhythm is there. I grew up listening to the above mentioned bands and more but top influences for guitar are Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, and Pantera. Rush is the band that made me want to pick up the bass although Rush is a bit advanced for my bass level but I pick up somewhat quickly. Like I said, nothing too obsessive just laid back fun playing music and learning from one another for starters. I have plenty of equipment so no need to haul alot of equipment around. I am extremely protective of my equipment and home, so only respectful musicians only!!!!!!
