My name is Brett and i am 54 y/o. I have been playing drums since i was 10. I am back behind the kit after a long layoff from music. I returned to the kit in 2007 after being asked to sit in and do a few songs with a band that played in clearwater. I am looking to join a band that wants to play out 4 to 8 times per month, and is serious about putting in the effort to learn material. I am not looking to go " on tour". I just want to make good music with a group of musicians that want the same as i do. I would like to play anywhere we would be able to play...e.g. fairs ,festivals,bars,special events, etc. I am currently the drummer for my worship team at church. Influences
My influences vary from types of music to musicians. I am not into any sort of death metal or speed metal. I will play metal such as ozzy, priest, but not the hardcore stuff. I like top 40's, classic rock, todays country music,blues and stuff from the 50's thru most of todays music.....No hip hop or rap or electronica
but i do like to play danceable music.
