I've been playing music most of my life. It's one of those driving forces we don't quite understand. For the past 17 years I've played with a Grateful Dead tribute band out of Central Illinois. PTB is the longest running Dead tribute band in the mid-west who are in their 23rd year but we are very slow these days. We play about 12-18 shows per year. I NEED MORE! I need to find musicians interested in exploring music and doing a variety of covers and original creations. Looking to play local and local regional shows. Have connections in Illinois and St. Louis for possible Scwag Stock. Please be serious and not looking to get wasted at shows.

Obviously The Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, most reggae, Beck, Ween, The Police, Jazz, Widespread Panic, Talking Heads, David Byrne, XTC, The Dukes of Stratosphere, Sonic Youth, Oh the list just keeps going. Anything interesting that stimulates the mind!!!
EQUIPMENT
6 pc Mapex M series with Zidjian and Sabian cybmbals. Mutiple snares depending on type of music, venue, mood, etc. Roland SPD-20 and Roland SPD-S drum pads. Mutiple hand drums and world percussion. A 1930's Gretch 3 pc jazz kit(needs TLC) and a 7 pc Tama Swing Star. Oh, and Thunder tubes.
For guitar I have a Strat custom made with maple neck, a Fender acoustic, Fender Twin Ultimate Chorus amp and various pedals.
