ABOUT
I'm mainly looking for a collaborator to start. Another songwriter (or several) to work with and get some new material going. I've been writing for a long time, both on piano and guitar, and I've found it to be the most fun when you work with other people.
I've been signing since I was 11 and it's my best instrument, though I am very solid on guitar and keys. My eventual goal is to gig a couple nights a week, or at least several times a month. Covers are fine, and needed on occasion, but the majority of the time would be spent developing new material.

Influences
As all musicians know, listing influences is pretty much pointless. You're influenced by everything. Some of my favorites, but by no means even a decent representation of what I like to perform, are: Queen, Matt Costa, David Gray, Tom Petty, STP, My Morning Jacket, Amos Lee, Ben Folds, Beatles, Ray LaMontagne, Cake, Mike Doughty, Rage Against the Machine, Citizen Cope... and the list goes on.
