About us:

We are an indie rock band with classic rock, classical, classic country, and progressive rock influences. We have one EP out and a full-length album that will be coming out later this year. Including drums, we are a five piece with Drums, Electric Bass, Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar and Keys/Viola. Our sound is pretty high energy and ranges from folksy rock with country undertones to dark, fast and heavy with progressive undertones. We have been featured in The Columbus Dispatch and have a solid social media and online presence. Our current drummer's school and work commitments unfortunately no longer allow for enough time for this project.

About you:

We are looking for an experienced drummer who takes music seriously and is between 21-40 who can commit to practice once a week and at least one show a month. Some shows will be out of town. You must be able to play country shuffle beats and be able to play well in odd time signatures like 5/8. Being able to sing harmonies is a plus but not required. We have a practice kit in our rehearsal space, but it would be preferable if you had your own gear and transportation. Our music can be pretty irreligious, so if religion is an important part of your life, that may be something to consider (although this does not matter to us one way or another if you are passionate about what we are doing).

It should go without saying that, as an original band, we are not currently turning a profit. We are looking for someone who loves the music we are making and is passionate about building something great. What money we do make we are currently putting back into band expenses. Hopefully with some hard work this record with net a profit and bigger opportunities for all of us.
