I spent most of my teenage and college years playing in cover bands, gigging most weekends. Usually played heavy radio rock/metal, but also had a few alt/punk side projects over the years. I'm just getting rusty and stagnant and would enjoy like-minded players to have the occasional jam with. My work schedule puts me out of town a few days during the week, but I'm free most weekends including Friday and Monday nights. I'm a level headed guy with a family and a good job. I lost my aspirations of being a rock star years ago, but I never lost the joy of playing. I'm just looking to dust off and have some fun. If it leads to an occasional show, I'm in for that too. I'm not a heavy drinker and not a drug user.

Influences
Everyone you would expect for a guy who grew up playing 80's metal. Van Halen, Rhoads, Vai, Lynch, Dimebag, and all the others. I've also got some influence from other genres, but that would take too long to list. My music collection spans from The Meatmen and Fugazi to Vivaldi and the Beach Boys. I'm pretty open to about anything.

Sort of mellower than what I'd usually come up with, but it was something I came up with while thinking about an old friend that passed away. Sort of rough and recorded in a basement without many retakes or overdubs. Just sort of a sketch.
