I've been playing guitar since I was 12, and have recently recommitted to music in a big way. I used to play in several metal bands in Louisville in my late teens/early twenties. I have played guitar consistently since then, though I stopped playing in bands around 2014 to focus on other things. Over the past two years, I've spent a lot of time practicing and studying music, and I'm now prepared to commit to a professional project.

I write mostly metal and alternative stuff but I'm willing to play most genres of rock/metal/alternative. Mostly, I just want other committed musicians to play with, because music is my passion.

I'm interested in bands that want to play/write original material. I crank out riffs like crazy but I'm not particularly gifted in piecing them together into catchy songs. I do my best work when I have a drummer to play along with, and a vocalist or other people to contribute and give their input towards song structure.

I'm comfortable playing rhythm and lead. I can fill either roll, and I'm not pushy about roles in the band.

I work Monday through Friday 6AM to 2PM, so am available for practice/gigs from 3PM to 8PM weekdays. Fridays and Saturdays I'm available as late as you want.

I love 80 new wave stuff as well, and retrowave music. 90s alternative, anything from the Seattle scene, all the way up through Nu Metal, and modern Prog and Death metal. Not too interested in classic rock or hair metal type stuff.
