This is unbelievable news for your professional touring act! As a youngster in his teens, Darren became a local staple at many of the Nashville recording studios and playing in his own bands. After a while Darren was able to land some road gigs and toured internationally.

Then Darren decided to add some hot sauce to his abilities, moved to Louisiana, played in original and cover bands and stretched his imagination.

Soon Darren would become so involved in the local music machine that he was hired to design Dale Hawkins’ studio, “Hawk’s Nest”, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Not long after, Darren decided to design his very own state of the art recording facility (Sandbox Recording Studio), managing, co-writing and producing many wonderful original songs and honing audio sound quality skills that very much stand him apart from many drummers. For example:

When Darren plays live, many engineers go up to introduce themselves and greet him. They want him to know how great his custom self built drum kit sounds. They exclaim, “We didn’t need to EQ the kit!” or, “I didn’t need compression! For those of you who are not familiar with these terms, this is a huge, almost unheard of, compliment for a live drummer.
