Band to Join.ABOUT
Guitarist with lots of experience looking to meet/interact with other musicians to make some music (covers, originals, acoustic acts, studio projects, FUN!). I'm drawn to music with strong emotional energy, groove, soul, etc. For cover-band situations, I’d be interested in doing a mix of modern, heavy, and classic rock, but open to other options…I like a lot of what’s happening with “indie”, eclectic, and hell-billy styles too.
I play electric lead, slide, various acoustic styles and can sing some lead …mostly backup vocals. I can gig at least two weekends a month …a weeknight here and there is ok. Limited travel is a possibility.

Influences
Earliest influences were most of the rock and jazz-fusion "guitar gods" of the 70's and 80's.
Some major influences would be Santana, SRV, the Edge, Billy Gibbons, Angus Young, Pete Anderson, Neal Schon, Joe Satriani, Jeff Beck, Duane Allman, Dickie Betts, Lyle George, EVH, Dimebag, Zakk Wylde (I’m sure there are more).
I play in lots of styles, but definitely have my own melodic style (approach and tone).

4 Fender Strats, Gibson Melody Maker, Papa Chubby flying V, Fender acoustic.
Amps:
- Carvin Classic Series 50 watt head two 4x10 cabs.
- Peavy Cassic 30 with 12” ext. cab.
Processors/effects:
- Line 6 POD and PODxt (for amp models only).
- Scary looking pedal board – midi controlled, all pro gear, very dependable.
- Rack-mounted digital effects, EQ, BBE, tuner, wireless
