ABOUT

Guitarist/songwriter seeking similarly influenced 40 - 60-something pro-quality metal/hard rock musicians, including a vocalist, in the East Valley (Gilbert/Chandler area).

More partial to basic instruments, amps and human talent than a wall of hi-tech for sound. Face-to-face jamming only, no Zoom/Skype/Virtual practice sessions. Prefer sober non-partyers (no alcohol, no weed/drugs) who can be productive with limited time.

Seeking vocal style in the spectrum of singers like Tony Martin, Steve Grimmett, Guy Speranza, Rhett Forrester, Rob Halford, Mike Howe, Zak Stevens, Robin McAuley, Marc Storace, Paul DiAnno and Paul Shortino, to name a few. (If you're too young to remember these names, please google them and listen to samples from their heyday to get an idea). Power, passion and precision with a little soul and grit.

Interested in creating new, `70s/`80s-inspired originals as well as covering some of that era's deep-cut metal/HR (no burned-out radio/MTV/Boneyard/Hair Nation "hits"). If you're cool with the above caveats and instinctively gravitate to the kinds of sounds that Max Norman, Kevin Shirley, Chris Tsangarides, Tom Allom, Michael Wagener, Dieter Dierks and Martin Birch got out of the metal/HR bands they produced, then we probably would gel nicely.
