ABOUT

We have a band and we play what we call "Twangadelicfunkabillypubrock". We're also into originals and tasteful covers influenced by a wide but selective range of music like 60s and British and American storytellers ranging anywhere from the usual cast of people mentioned (Nick Lowe/Andy Partridge/Ray Davies/John Hiatt et al) and all points in between and beyond. We're not interested in being a typical club/bull roast band. We're looking for an older like-minded fourth member, preferably another guitarist who plays rhythm (and lead). Currently, I play both but I enjoy playing with another guitarist who understands what it means to "play for the song" and "not step on each other's toes" when playing. We have a great rhythm section - drummer and bassist - who are as tight as they come and we all share similar tastes in music, get along extremely well, are sober (i.e., "no luggage"), are fully vaxxed, and settled down in life.
While playing out is fun, it's not if it becomes another job and becomes the primary focus. Being able to get along without drama and other baggage that tends to ruin bands is very important. We play music because we enjoy it; not to pretend to be rock stars. We have a fantastic practice space, P.A., etc. in Baltimore County. No egos even though we are all very competent on our respective instruments and all three of us sing. If that sounds interesting, give us a shout and we'll get back to you as we can. We're very choosy as in being careful about adding another member, just as you should be as well. Let's hope that 2022 will eventually see things improve.

EQUIPMENT

The usual array of guitars, basses, microphones, amps of varying sizes, etc. one would expect an older musician to have accumulated over the years ranging from small to large and to small again. Pedals to enhance the sound as well, not to replace the music with gimmicks.
