ABOUT

Not currently seeking a gigging arrangement.

Former touring musician for over 10 years - vocals and bass, took time off to do family and career, now getting back into playing. Can sing lead while playing bass (with some practice, of course). Would be most comfortable in multi-vocalist band where I can sing at least some lead. I'd be happy in almost any style of music (although probably not Polka - been there, done that). If I could pick my own set list, it'd probably be more progressive rock, with a healthy dose of alternative, and some variety rock. I've been in show bands, Beatles tributes, metal, progressive, and variety bands (and a memorable 3-month stint in Polka band.) I started learning piano when I was about 6 (long since left keys behind, although I am trying to re-learn), picked up trumpet in 5th grade, switched to tuba in jr. high, then took up the bass in HS jazz band and have never looked back. Music is my passion. I practice solo every day, and would like a band that practices weekly. I ran my own sound/light company with 2 crews for about 5 years after being in bands.
