ABOUT

I have been playing for almost 20 years now. Never gigged. Jammed with anybody that wanted and had a few full piece sessions. But never thought id be good enough to play in a band committed to writing and gigging. Im always modest about my skill level and say I can play OK but this situation calls for more accurate estimation of myself. So…… Ever since I was 13 guitar has consumed me. As an outlet, interest, hobby, early found coping mechanism, passion, and borderline obsession. I didnt know anyone that played when I started so i tried to infect everyone around me with enthusiasm, encouragement, and knowledge to learn from others even as I tried to help them learn. Dunno if that’s important too someone. But the most important thing I think I can say about my playing is that whenever I hit those plateau’s all musicians encounter, I didnt stop. I pushed through then, after, and will do so until I die. Sorry for the novel. Its hard for me to ditch the modesty and instead of saying im OK that im Pretty Good lol.

Also- I went to school for a time studying electricity and electrical components. As well as theory and schematic/blueprint reading. Ive built a few different devices from available plans and borne of personal necessity. I plan on building a 7-String with a 25” scale and a few analog circuit pedals in the near future with confidence.
