We’re an evangelical church located in North Haledon NJ looking for a drummer for our Sunday morning worship services. This is a non-paid role and is a service to our Lord. Candidates need to be a committed Christians, regularly attending a bible-believing church and trusting in Jesus Christ as their Savoir.
Our services entail blended worship styles, mixing contemporary Christian music with traditional hymns and Gospel music. We’re looking for a competent individual that can come in unrehearsed and play the service. A vintage Ludwig trap kit is always set up for the services, you just need to bring your sticks, brushes, etc.
Drummer must follow well and be sensitive to drum volume. We’ve had drums in our services for over 20 years and do not use mics or noise shields. Just good acoustic drum work. The opportunity also provides for playing along with certain choir selections. Our Sunday morning praise team is comprised of an ensemble of seasoned musicians including piano, keys, guitar, bass, flute and a brass horn section.
If God has given you a gift and you desire to use it to praise and glorify Him with it, this may be an opportunity for you. Prelude starts at 10:30 and service ends at 12:00. You would be required to attend the entire worship service.
