Band to Join, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Drums, Other Percussion, Saxophone, Keyboard, Piano.ABOUT
Want to play, for the love of playing... I have a full time job and I travel a bit. I do not have ambitions beyond sharing music with like minded. I am not a good fit if you have big plans and want to play out on a regular basis.
Many years ago, I was semi pro, did studio work, toured a bit, and practiced every waking second. Then, life happened, and it changed. Now, I work with software sales and consulting. I practice at home only 4-5 hrs a week.
I would like to play jazz/fusion, or, comp for a guitarist doing Jimmy Buffet or something in that genre or anything in between; it is mostly about meeting likeminded. Traditional blues/60s rock etc is not my thing though.
I have played over 100 gigs.. and did studio work but, that was a long time ago in a far away country. Now, my ambitions are different.
after a 10 year hiatus, I got a bass guitar and started playing again and have been for the last 5 years.

Influences
I grew up with 80's rock.. Toto, Van Halen, Chicago, Journey....
also smooth jazz .... Mezzoforte, Rippingtons, Spyro Gyra, Lee Ritenour and Dave Grusin.
I listen to players like Mark King, Fedrico Malaman, Davydiant, and Marcus Miller, but, I am far below them in terms of skills. As far as bands are concerned: big fan of Dream Theater..
I AM NOT going to be your good pick if you suddenly need a stand in for a gig on short notice.

EQUIPMENT
I have a 4 string, and have borrowed a six string recently; interesting and different ... and I have an amp for a small venue. If it does not sound good, it is not because of the bass. If I need a bigger/better amp or whatever, I will get it.
