ABOUT

40-something drummer with experience in a variety of genres, including: rock, alternative, soul, lofi, funk, r&b, blues, jazz fusion, acid jazz, blues, psychedelic, world, roots. Comfortable playing behind a straight ahead simple 4pc kit to a larger 6pc kit with all the bells and whistles. Hand drumming and other percussion/noise-makers. Backing vocals. Arranging and some writing experience. Private teacher for all ages beginner to intermediate and classroom instructor for elementary kids. Open to opportunities in studio and live gigging. Interested in creating with individuals who are schooled and studied musically but who let feel and imagination - not theory - dictate the outcome. Check out a couple of my previous bands, The DayNites and Jamison, on Spotify and be.
