Let me start by saying we are all under the age of 25, but aren't just a group of guys messing around in a basement. We have a 10-track professionally recorded album near completion. Although we are still a secret to the world, we already will have very good local buzz bc our lead singer/guitarist was the front man for 'The Treez' who made a name for themselves about 6-7 years ago. Our rapper Josh Woods also is very well known in the local music scene for his solo career.
Our style is very unique but if i had to put a genre to it, I'd call it ska/hip-hop/alternative. We already have a contract being written up our entertainment attorney for a private investor who plans to invest 20k-30k into our band for a percentage of our sales of the first few years. This money will be spent on mix/masters by Lewis Richards (one of the best engineers in the game), PR and digital marketing, promotion, music videos, merch, etc.
For our very first show, we will be opening up for The Wailers (as in Bob Marley & The Wailers) scheduled Oct. 20th. We have a full band assembled, practicing 1-3 times a week (we will work around your schedule) but all we are missing is brass. Im hoping to add sax, trombone and trumpet, maybe clarinet, but open to ANYTHING similar at this point.
