I have been playing bass of both the vertical and horizontal varieties since I was a kid. I started with classical and pursued it to the point of making the All-State orchestra twice in high school. I was also introduced to Jazz in high school, which I pursued to the point of making the community college All-State Jazz Band twice when I first started college. I am now a student in the Jazz program at the University of Houston Moore's School of Music, and the Bass Guitarist for Cypress UMC. I play classical, Jazz, and movie music type of gigs pretty often, but I am always looking for more opportunities to play music.
