I’m 59, played classical clarinet in Middle School thru college, played with the orchestra of Caen,in Normandy France, then Houston/Missouri City Pops and then solos sporadically throughout the years in various churches. Took a break due to raising children, work, and health. A month ago I started to play again. I’m serious about wanting to play in a band or small ensemble. I want to play blues and/or jazz. I have not played in any gigs. I am not, nor ever have been, paid to play. I’m retired (former Oil&Gas Trade Officer for French Consulate and Middle School teacher). I have some free time and wish expand my clarinet playing. Is this the correct site to join?
