Hi! My name is Ellie and I'm from the New Orleans area. I have been playing the violin for about 8 years. I would not say I am very high-level, but I could figure out almost any sheet music given. I am busy most days, but I think this would be a great activity for the weekends. I am mostly into Indie or Folk music, so I would be a great background violinist for those genres, but I can also play Jazz or almost anything else. Some of my favorite artists are Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers, The Head and the Heart, and Of Monsters and Men. I have never actually played a gig (outside of orchestra concerts) / been in a band before, so this will be a completely new experience. I wouldn't say I have the best voice, but it probably won't hurt your eardrums, so I am open to being a background singer as well.
