I've been playing guitar for about 30 years, and have good gear. Before I played guitar, I took piano lessons for about 7 years. I cannot, nor do I want to "shred", and firmly believe in quality not quantity of notes.
Basically, I just want to have fun and play a few gigs. If we're not having fun, it shouldn't be done. Let "the music play the band", not the other way around.
