Closet bass bass player but not a complete novice, looking for FUN band situation to learn the instrument and songs more. Learning songs for me is really only if I am gonna play those songs in a fun band or garage jam situation to better myself as a player. I've played in many working bands on a different instrument for 35 years but only want to play bass for now in a fun jam situation no pressures and don't want to play the average crap bar bands do. Only looking to gig if it turns out the music and band members are right and we are tight as a unit not garbage.. I am looking to play music that inspired me to play to begin with thats not boring and also not for just the money because that affects the quality of music. Music and fun first and foremost.
