I'm an old metal-head who put down his axe for awhile, but is itching to get busy again. I can play some covers, but prefer to play my originals. I've got a couple dozen original riffs (or more) that I've been playing for years that are still very cool jams. (if I do say so myself) I'd call my stuff either "grinding groove metal" or maybe "groovy grind metal" for the most part, but also have some melodically structured stuff and a few ballads.
The three audio clips I uploaded are original riffs, recorded a few years back on a crappy 8-track in about an hour....very raw, but very real. Just a taste...
I'd like to get together with some other casual-yet-professional musicians and see if we can make some magic. My cell number is:

Influences
All tasteful hard rock and metal through the late 70's and 80's..and a little bit in the 90's. There are a few newer bands that have the right idea, but they are rare.
