DUTIES:
Summary: Drummer Provides musical leadership on the drums and auxiliary percussion and
will work with the Director of Worship , Music Director, to ensure
order, structure, and harmony among all aspects of worship within the Temple of Victory Church and other ministry events as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
o Practice individually and regularly to ensure excellence of execution in all repertoires each
week. This is easily a Five-hour commitment per week.
o Work with a team of other musicians in the AEBC rhythm section (drummer, bass player, and
other keyboard/piano musicians)
o Reports at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday morning, begins warm-up and band review for worship at
10:45 am.
o Be prepared for and attend all scheduled band and/or choir rehearsals.
o Support the church’s dynamic worship environment through well-prepared execution of all
music that includes accurate leadership of hymns, praise & worship music, and other music
offered by the choirs & Praise teams and congregation.
o Perform all other related duties and assignments as deemed necessary on required dates.
o Competencies
o Must have excellent ability to play music representative of the genres used in worship at the
Temple of Victory Ministries, anthems, hymns, traditional gospel, praise and worship,
contemporary gospel, and other styles.
o Follow written and oral instructions with little supervision.
