Empty Promises is a conglomeration of melody and harmony that culminates in euphonic music that invigorates your body and mesmerizes your soul. The band possesses a flowing songwriting process where each member adds their own piece to the proverbial puzzle that is their art. The music is pulled together by the players and combined with lyrics that acclimate splendidly to the structure of the sound. A process consisting of skill and integrity. The band formed in its earliest incarnation during the early months of the year 2003. After many subsequent alterations to the band's lineup, they reached their current arrangement of players in 2004 with: Jeff Paloski (Guitar), Brandon Ketcham (Guitar/Bass), Jeremy Engwer (Vocals), Tim Mizerak (Bass/Guitar/Keyboard) and Jeremy Cotrofield (Drums). The music itself is a blend of the harsh tones of hard rock/metal with the melody of alternative music. With Jeff's graceful rhythm, Brandon's illuminating fretwork, Jeremy's heart-torn lyrics, Tim's boisterous bass and occasional experimental effects and now with Cojo's drumming, Empty Promises are a unique blend of original music that contains the will and capacity to enthrall.
