Band to Join, Vocalist - Tenor, Bass Guitar, Trumpet, Saxophone, Keyboard, Background Singer, Vocalist - Alto, Clarinet.

I'm a 30 year old guitarist and bassist. I love playing music with other people. I could go and do a solo acoustic set, but that just bores and depresses me. I live for the spontaneity of playing live with other musicians. I'm willing to play just about anything, but I'd prefer to avoid playing punk and most metal because I just don't enjoy it. I love the funk.
I am currently looking to join an existing Classic Rock or Blues group that is on track to be gigging in a short period of time. I learn very quickly, so getting me "up to speed" isn't a concern. Hell, the harder you make it for me, the better. I need a challenge.
In the near future I will be looking to put together a group doing what I had been doing up in Massachusetts. That project was a Jazz/Funk group with some Blues thrown in to fill time. I'll be looking for really good players for this project.

A little of everything. Little Feat, the Eagles, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tower of Power, Clapton, BB King, George Gershwin, Arnold Schoenberg (seriously, vagrant harmonies are so intriguing), Wes Montgomery, Ted Nugent, Pat Flynn, Tommy Emmanuel, Neil Young, Chet Atkins... I listen to so many different kinds of music that it's all seeped in.

Instrument experience:

Gibson Slash Edition Les Paul, 70s Gibson Les Paul, ‘73 Ampeg V4, Epiphone Genesis II, Digitech processor
Ibanez SoundGear Bass (don't know the specific model off the top of my head),
Behringer board with USB output, Apple computer with Logic Pro
