I've been playing guitar for 6 years, and am looking to collaborate with other musicians. I was the guitarist in a Jazz Band for two years, and I am comfortable playing in front of others. I've been writing songs for a couple of years now, and I would really like to get them out there. My personal song-writing style most heavily takes influence from Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jack Johnson, and the Rolling Stones in general. I am also very comfortable jamming with others and improving. It's actually one of my favorite aspects of music.

In terms of soloing, I take heavy influence from the blues. I mostly play Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimi Hendrix style leads, with a touch of BB King and Albert King. I also finger pick, if you care at all.

Rhythmically I'm a little more diverse. When song writing I use a very Jack Johnson-esque style of chord progressions, usually embellished with rhythmic fills in the style of both Jimi Hendrix and Keith Richards. I also employ a lot of soul finger picking, used in songs like Grass Is Greener by St Paul And The Broken Bones. I am very comfortable s a rhythm guitarist on the whole, and can play in most styles.

Right now, a 1970 Fender Strat, and a Line 6 Spider IV 15 amplifier. I am saving up for a Marshall Half Stack though.
