I taught myself to play the guitar fifteen years ago when I found an old acoustic in my parents coat closet. More recently I continued my education at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood studying guitar performance. During this time I enjoyed gigging with indie rock bands up and down the Sunset Strip.
I specialize in indie rock, blues and folk. I am a balanced player between rhythm and lead and lean toward melodic and abstract soloing over shred. I am also experienced at playing slide guitar in open G and standard tunings.
I am interested in joining an established band for studio and/or live performances as well as touring. I am also interested in meeting other serious, professional-minded musicians who want to be in a full-time, self-sustaining band.
